Smoking bans

I hate smoking bans. I also hate smoking. This article in the LA TIMES illustrates smoking bans well.

I hate smoking passionately, it has just about killed my grandfather, and it is contributing to the downfall of my mother, father, and brother.

I still cannot support a smoking ban of any kind. Regardless of it be a bar, casino, car, or apartment building.

Up until recently I lived with my grandfather, who despite numerous please from me and the family continues to smoke himself into a grave.

Guess what? I didn't call my congressman and demand a smoking ban. I moved!! I took personal responsibility and left a potentially dangerous situation. Take care of yourself, the state or federal government should not be involved in our lives.
